Love

Browsing through a forum, and came across this quote, the thread was titled "what do you believe? can humans make a better future?"
The quote: "I have no fear for the future because the people I know are changing the world right now! People like you!"

And it's so true!!! Recently I have been surrounding myself with people who are so full of love, confidence, happiness and light, that it becomes hard to fear for the future, even if the world does end in 2012.
Happiness is right here with the people you love, and they will always, always, be there for you, and you for them.
If you fill you're reality with people you love, doing things you love, and filling others with that same light and happiness, there is no fear.
The world as a whole (the news, people dying, lots of unhappy crappy) is so full of fear, hurt, sorrow and pain. We in the west watch this on tv, we eat it up and just think "it's just another tidal wave, and shit it's bad!" or something similar.. the recent Haiti destruction is a good example.
We watch this horror unfold from the perspective of the media, which makes it become completely ordinary for us to see on tv. We know it's bad, but so many people don't really know the pain that these people go through.
Which in turn represents our culture (western) as so much better than theirs. Our world is divided from the lucky to the unlucky. Our realities are so far apart that we will never get to truly connect with those people.
sThis is why, our world as a whole is so far from ever becoming connected; Our race has been taught so many different belief systems that we are out of control.
The change for the better is happening. The quote says it, there are people generating such acceptence and love that there is no fear within those groups, or communities.
The challange for humanity is making this love world-wide, so no one ever feels fear, self doubt, anger, agression.. all those negative emotions.
